Although we see real dogs and a cat on screen, they are voiced by actors to convey the story better. The pets are Sassy, a cat voiced by Sally Field, Shadow, a golden retriever voiced by Don Ameche and Chance, an American bulldog voiced by Michael J. Fox.


Despite the seemingly lonely premise, the film is a fun watch for the family as we root for these three furballs to reunite with their family.
